from the mouth of babes...
My little girl Wittles, always wondering what her father is up to on the computer, wanted to say a few words to the online world: "I'm gonna go to two parties. Hello, Daddy! How are you doing today? Have a nice day, everybody!" {As her little brother sulks in the corner...}

the day for dads
Yesterday, before this special Sunday for Dads and Dads alone, I assumed I would spend my day sleeping late, lazily roaming the house while doing next to nothing. Imagine my surprise when I awoke early in the morning, my two-year-old son a little less than thrilled to be awake himself. With my restless wife tossing & turning, I rescued the little man - who I've taken to calling 2'10", because of his tiny stature. A short time later, his big sister also woke up, and, while feeding them breakfast, something occurred to me. It only made sense that I was up taking care of them on Fathers Day, because, after all, they are why I get to celebrate the day in the first place. Sleep's overrated. Playing with your kids - at least the ones who are up! - is certainly not...
